"CRESTONE CHORALE PREPARES FOR HOLIDAY SEASON"

CRESTONE - In December the Crestone Community Chorale will begin celebrating its tenth season. Participating in the chorale are sopranos Suzanne Frazier, Galina Hayes, Findley West, Eileen Wilfong.

In August 1995, Eileen Wilfong, who had recently moved to Crestone was inspired to form a COMMUNITY CHORE. Eighteen singers made their debut as "CRESTONE COMMUNITY CHOIR". At Performances at Baca's first Christmas program that year. A popylar community activity,the choir's lively weekly rehearsals, held at Silvia Hazelrig's Music House, are well attended. The choir's growth has significantly touched the com- munity with the joy of song.

Each year the choir prepares a winter and a spring program for the local community as well as benefit performances throughout the San Luis Valley.
